Technical department

 

Welcome to our Technical Departments! We are divided into Electronics, Structures and Propulsion, and together we develop rockets from scratch with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience. As a team of highly dedicated students thriving in challenging technical environments, we welcome new like-minded individuals with a passion for engineering, technology and space. Join us for an opportunity  to launch your career in the Norwegian space industry!

 

No prior rocketry or engineering experience is necessary to apply. We seek enthusiastic, driven and responsible individuals, both bachelor (across all years) and first-year master students, willing to commit for two semesters or more. Below, you’ll find more detailed information about positions within each technical department..

Structures departement

Number of open positions: 0

As a structures member, you will be part of and responsible for designing, producing, and optimizing vital rocket components such as the rocket shell, skeleton, and recovery systems. You can also work with ground systems necessary for engine testing and rocket launch.

Electronics department

Number of open positions: 0

As an electronics member, you will be part of and responsible for designing circuits, software interfaces, sensor development, data acquisition and control, or other. The electronics department ties all systems in a rocket together and you will therefore work with a wide variety of people, systems, and challenging tasks.

Propulsion departement

Number of open positions: 0

As a propulsion member, you will be part of and responsible for designing, building, and testing feed systems, injectors, and thrust chambers. You design based on theory, experimentation data, and test results. The propulsion department is at the heart of any rocket program and you will therefore work with a wide variety of people, systems, and challenging tasks.

We're the architects of efficiency, ensuring smooth operations so our technical teams can focus on reaching new heights. Financial Associate

We are seeking a self-motivated and proactive Financial Associate to manage the financial aspects of our activities. This pivotal role entails overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking, ensuring seamless operations and strategic financial decisions. Working hours will be around 6-15 hours per week, with flexible options.

Event Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Event Coordinator to plan and execute various events for our team and partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable experiences and be able to handle a diverse portfolio of events.
