Propulsion departement

As a propulsion member, you will be part of and responsible for designing, building, and testing rocket engine parts. The propulsion department is at the heart of any rocket program and you will therefore work with a wide variety of people, systems, and challenging tasks.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design, manufacture and test the Reodor engine as well as smaller prototype engines. 

  • Work on regenerative cooling based on theory and experimentation data. 

  • Documentation of decisions. 

  • Optimizing injector designs to increase combustion efficiency and stability.

  • Integrate the engine into the rocket structure.

  • Ensure safety around testing, including explosion hazards and cryogenic fluids.



  • Student in Oslo who wants to learn more about technical practice in rocket science.

  • Must be willing to learn manufacturing and design.

  • Have an interest in innovation and rocket engineering.

  • Result oriented with a focus on simple and practical solutions.

  • Motivated, engaged, curious, and are not afraid of responsibility.
