Electronics departement

As an electronics member, you will be part of and responsible for designing circuits, sensors, data acquisition, processing, and software interfaces. The electronics department ties all systems in a rocket together and you will therefore work with a wide variety of people, systems, and challenging tasks.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work on mixed signals with a focus on sensors, microcontrollers, embedded C++, and digital signal processing.

  • Build, measure, and learn by experimenting.

  • Work on developing new systems, and maintain old ones with a focus on one or more of the following:

    • Engine systems

    • Inertial measurement and navigation

    • Telemetry

    • Power supply units

  • Document your decisions.

 

Prerequisites:

  • Student in Oslo who wants to learn more about electronics in practice.

  • Must have a basic understanding of electronics.

  • Prior experience with an electronics project.

  • Have an interest in innovation, rocket engineering, and electronics.

  • Result-oriented with a focus on simple and practical solutions. 

  • Motivated, engaged, curious, and are not afraid of responsibility.
