Electronics department

As an electronics member, you will be part of and responsible for designing circuits, software interfaces, sensor development, data acquisition and control, or other. The electronics department ties all systems in a rocket together and you will therefore work with a wide variety of people, systems, and challenging tasks.

What you will learn: 

  • How to use AVR and ARM microcontrollers to make complex circuits with both software and hardware components. 

  • Basic circuit theory, and an in-depth understanding of your given responsibility.

  • How C/C++ is used in microcontrollers and embedded systems.

  • Soldering, developing new circuits, schematics, and printed circuit board design.

  • Work systematically to solve complex engineering problems, collaborating with others on challenging projects.
     

 

Prerequisites:

  • Student in Oslo who wants to learn more about electronics in practice.

  • Have an interest in innovation, rocket engineering, or electronics.

  • Result oriented with a focus on simple and practical solutions.

  • Motivated, engaged, curious, and are not afraid of responsibility.

  • Is available to contribute 10 to 15 hours each week on average.
