About the role

As an Event Coordinator in Portal Space’s Operations Department, you'll be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events — from internal team-building activities to external outreach and public demonstrations. Your work will help shape the experience of both our members and the wider community we engage with, including students, industry partners, and sponsors.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys creating meaningful, well-organized events and wants to contribute to the energy and visibility of a student-driven rocket project.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and coordinate booths, presentations, and outreach at career fairs, open days, and conferences.

  • Organize internal social events, retreats, and team-building activities.

  • Support the execution of technical events such as static fire tests and launch days.

  • Coordinate partner and sponsor visits to the lab and workshop.

  • Ensure smooth logistics and follow-up for all events.

  • Creative thinking and ability to find innovative solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience in event planning and execution is an advantage, but not a requirement.

  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changes in event plans.
