A successful rocket project takes more than engineering. The Operations department keeps Portal Space moving by building the organization around the rocket. We connect students with industry, organize events, manage finances, tell our story, and create the community that makes ambitious projects possible.

HR
Help build the team behind the rocket. Recruitment, onboarding, and member development while creating an inclusive environment where students can learn, contribute, and grow throughout their time at Portal Space.
Key Account Manager
Build lasting relationships with the companies that help make our projects possible. Work closely with sponsors and partners, ensuring they get value from supporting Portal Space while exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
Financial Associate
Help keep the project on course financially. Work with budgeting, expense tracking, funding, and reporting to ensure every department has the resources needed to design, build, and launch a rocket.
Event Coordinator
Create the experiences that bring our community together. Plan everything from social gatherings and company visits to public demonstrations and networking events. Your work will help shape the experience of both our members and the wider community we engage with, including students, industry partners, and sponsors.
